I have truly enjoyed attending the course. The course provided a comprehensive introduction to dysphagia management, covering key areas effectively. The content was well-structured, with a good balance between theory and practical application. The support from Liz and Jo was excellent and the additional resources were helpful for further study. I found Liz and Jo to be amazing tutors, great professionals, approachable, positive and cheerful Human beings with a capital ‘H.’ I am grateful for the high expectations and strict rules they have for the students because this is what makes us great professionals. I highly recommend Manchester Post Basic Dysphagia Course to anyone interested in the field. Thank you, Liz and Jo, for the incredibly informative and enjoyable week in Manchester.

I would thoroughly recommend the Manchester post basic course for those wanting to train in dysphagia. Jo and Liz are very knowledgeable and ensure practitioners are aware of patient lead care, theory, other perspectives and legalities associated. This course felt very comprehensive with additional discussions and guest speakers allowing me to feel more aware of the added layers associated with dysphagia practice. Jo and Liz always took additional time to answer any questions and were very honest in their responses which I found beneficial to develop my perspective. I must say the food, staff and venue were also all fantastic. Thank you. I would definitely recommend.

A highly recommended course to any professional who wishes to have a strong knowledge base in dysphagia! Liz and Jo are amazing and experienced tutors who are ready to ask questions and help as best as they can! Other perspectives were also offered in the form of lectures/talks by different professionals. The handbook provided is a very good resource for studying and for note-keeping for future information. Very good catering and venue as well. Overall a wonderful course!!

Thank you Jo and Liz for a great week! The course definitely succeeded in making me feel equipped to tackle dysphagia and I left feeling informed about what is expected of me in the supervisory period and for the assessment. Jo and Liz were able to inform us of the relevant theory as well as including practical elements to the course which kept it interesting and relevant to my role. Would highly recommend any SLT (or other professional) interested in expanding their knowledge of dysphagia to attend.

Thank you Jo and Liz for a great course! They were excellent presenters and shared their knowledge and expertise without hesitation. Also the handbook was an excellent resource which meant we could listen and take some notes without trying to record it all. There were also external speakers from different disciplines who were also amazing and professional. The lunches each day were excellent! Cheers
