A very well organized course!! Enriching and refreshing experience. Took back home information in abundance. The presentations were simple and interactive. A fantastic course! The content was interesting, relevant and broad, and the structure and delivery made it accessible and engaging. I’m now looking forward to putting the theory into practice, and this is in no small part due to Jo and Liz’s ability to motivate and inspire! I would highly recommend this course for anyone with a dysphagia caseload. Thanks to all who were involved in the course 🙂
What a fantastic course! I have learnt so much and can’t wait to get started putting it all into practice. The course was informative, interactive, completely relevant, and delivered in a relaxed and entertaining style! Liz and Jo are clearly very knowledgable in their areas and were very approachable when people had questions. I left feeling inspired!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Liz and Jo were brilliant and I still have the written materials and resources which we got during the theoretical week. I found the course very comprehensive overall with presentations from guest speakers including a Physiotherapist and ALD SLT. The course is also well esteemed amongst other SLTs – important in terms of securing employment.

I travelled from Ireland to do this course and I found it to be a very postivie experience overall. The course coordinators were very helpful and professional. The course content was excellent. There were a number of us who travelled from Ireland. We stayed in the Premier Inn Trafford Centre North and travelled by taxi each day to the venue. This cost approx 2e each between 4 or 5 people.
A really great course which comprehensively covered a range of Dysphagia issues for Paediatric, Adult and ALD client groups. Liz and Jo are brilliant leaders of the course and ensure that any questions or concerns are answered, no matter how big or small. The other presenters also meant we were able to look at Dysphagia management from the perspective of the entire multi-disciplinary team. I thought I would be in the minority coming from a paediatric post but there were lots of other SLT’s in a similar role and the course fulfilled all my needs from a paediatric perspective. Now to put it all into practise! Thank you Jo and Liz!
A really good course which covered all the necessary material in an easily comprehensible way. This was greatly aided by the humour and commitment of Jo, Liz and the other presenters. I would highly recommend this course to any potential dysphagia practitioners.

The course was very thorough and well taught. Jo and Liz explained things well and were very approachable. I was keen to get back to work and put theory into practice. It was great to meet other SLTs from different locations and clinical areas and share experiences. The lunches provided were fantastic!
Having now passed the course, I feel confident in managing my dysphagia caseload independently and supporting colleagues through their training.
